FUN FACTS

Red Rocks is my favorite concert venue. One summer, when I was taking a break from traveling, I went to a Red Rocks show twice a week throughout the entire summer. One of my favorite things about traveling- getting to take that much needed time off and focus on the things you love most.

What do you wish the world knew about nursing?

That clinicians have mental health needs that cannot be brushed under the rug any longer. The clinician burnout that is happening at a rapid and steady pace is not healthy for our clinicians or our patients. Staffing is one of the biggest factors in burnout and investing in safe staffing would help protect our most valuable assets in healthcare, our clinicians!

My grandmother was a nurse in WWII, she is my all time favorite nurse. She encouraged me to become the nurse I am today and wouldn't change a thing. Working with other nurses and hearing their stories inspire me daily!
