My husband & I own 25 acres of land and are hosts on airbnb for that property. It has been such a fun new adventure that we are learning a lot about! I also have two doxies - Gloria & Greta.

What do you wish the world knew about nursing?

We internalize most of what happens to our patients and carry that weight with us for years to come. We also love seeing updates pictures or videos of our past patients. It brings so much joy to see and know that our patients & families remember us for years to come!

I love to do anything outdoors whether that be hiking, trail running, road biking, kayaking, sitting by the campfire- it all is enjoyable and really puts the world into perspective to take in nature!

My NICU co-workers! I have been in a lot of units within the hospital and no one compares to the love, kindness and inspiration that NICU nurses give their patients & families. It takes true dedication and passion to do the work they do everyday!
