Additional Details:

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

36hr Nights, E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday

Required Exp: 2+ years recent MICU/ICU experience. Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips. Tele test on day 1.

Preferred Exp: Radial artery sticks, CRRT, CCRN, blood draws and IV skills.

Unit sees patients with respiratory failure, renal disease, ETOH withdrawal, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac arrest, GI bleeds.
