Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 years.

24 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

While only one reference is required for submittal, two manager references will need to be provided during onboarding in order to be compliant with Johns Hopkins requirements.

NCCU has very complex cases/care: severe brain injuries, stroke or brain tumors and many are post-op from a neurosurgical procedure, new thrombectomies and very neurologically sick patients

Note: We are open to training an ICU RN to the NCCU but they have to be an outstanding candidate .

36 or 48 hours - No Guaranteed Hours

Weekends: 3 of 6 weekends

Call : 2-on call per 6-week schedule

Holidays As needed

Float as needed to area of like skill set/ ICU/IMC

The patient population of the NCCU requires care providers to interface between the brain and other vital organ systems.
