Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
3 months of travel experience is required.
36 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is required.
References

Additional Details:

Nicotine free campus. Must test negative.

No Self Scheduling.

May float to other units in ICU cluster (PICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, IMU).

Must have 3+ years in level 3 or level 4 NICU. Level 1 or 2 NICU experience will not be considered.

Every other weekend is required. Holidays required, as needed.

Patient population: Typical patient population (diagnosis) / surgical procedures completed: 23 weeks micro-premies, VLBW, usual complications of prematurity, general surgeries, chronic lung, bleeds, spina bifida, diaphragmatic hernia, NEC perforation, gastro, cleft lip/palate/mandible, transfers from surrounding Level II NNICUs, PDA ligations, body cooling.

Average length of patient stay: 40 days

Equipment: GE, Servo, Kangaroo Care, ECMO, Nitric Oxide, HFOV, Jet Vent (occasional), & IMV Respiratory and Anesthesia available for support. RTs manage ventilators.
