Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 mile straight line radius of intended facility, not driving distance.
Anyone granted a covid vaccine exemption must comply with weekly testing and proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Shift: start time 1900
3 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period
Shifts will be in the Emergency Department tending to Progressive Care level patients who are awaiting an inpatient bed
Nurses will tend to the patients just as they would on an inpatient unit, only the location will differ.
On call and holidays may be required.
Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which they are trained, including alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients, including PresNow ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergent care facilities).
2 years’ experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required.
Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval.
Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
Traveler must pass the BCA testing during first week of assignment.
Scrubs: required and not provided by the facility
Ensure an accurate SS# and DOB is entered. If not, traveler may be pushed/agency suspended (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
