24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Connecticut license

Floating: All nurses are required to work PP

Unit Pregnancy & Birth Center- L&D/PP- Level 2:

L&D Beds 20 including PP
Triage beds 3-5 beds
Ratios 1:1, PP rarely 1:2, 1:3-4 Couplets should read L&D 1:1 on occasion 2:1. PP 304 mother baby couplets, Level II Nursery 1-3 infant per 1 RN
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: High risk, 33Week, low risk. Everything below 33 weeks are shipped out. PP feeders and growers.
FHM System Fetal Link

C-section experience required Labor nurse, no scrubbing, Circulate

Nurses must be able to read and interpret strips.

Scrub Color: Caribbean blue, able to wear black and white shirts under uniform, top layer must be uniform color, pants may be black or Caribbean blue. L&D- Provided. should read only: Ceil Blue and hospital provided/laundered
