Requirements
Experience
Travel experience is preferred.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Cerner is required.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Minnesota license

Additional Details:

NO RTO between 12/15-1/15 will be approved.

Guaranteed Hours Per week: 36

Float Requirements: Will be required to float to medical/surgical patients if low census on labor and delivery (once a week/average)

Facility will attempt to schedule 3 shifts in a row but flexibility is required

Travelers have the option of trading shifts with others if necessary

On Call/Call back: On call - as needed

Weekend Rotation Requirements: Every other, up to 3rd weekend

Holiday Rotation Requirements: holiday rotation

Required Education: BSN or ADN

Minimum experience: 2+ year of L&D/Mother Baby

1+ year M/S required

Desired Specific Skillset for an ideal candidate: OB triage experience, antepartum, intra-partum and post partum care.

Newborn cares for level 1 nursery.

Skills r/t oxygen or IV therapy for the newborn as well.

Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1/1 in active labor, 1/2-3 couplets.

Scrub Color Required: no specific color required
