Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Nurse Educator experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

What areas do they cover (Nursing Home, Skilled Nursing, IRF, Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Home Care, Employees, etc.): Perioperative Services to include OR, Perianesthesia, SPD and Cardiac Cath Lab

Common types of patients & job duties: This position plans, develops, coordinates, and implements staff development, continuing education, orientation, annual update, and competency evaluation processes including remediation of staff.

Experience or 'Must have' skills:

Master's degree in related field OR Master's degree in progress
Four years of nursing experience with demonstrated progressive teaching and communication skills OR five years of nursing experience with specialty certification AND Masters in progress
