Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Palliative Care Unit experience is preferred from last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 or 48 hours per week

Shift Requirements: variable shifts. days and nights

Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Float Requirements: To any inpatient unit and to other Central region locations if needed.

Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 10 bed unit.

Primary Cases: Palliative, Comfort/Hospice, Med/Surg

Required Education: Associate Degree or Certificate

Minimum Experience:

2 Year Inpatient required.
2 yrs MS experience required.
Will take a MS RN that is willing to be on Palliative Unit

Required Skillset: Med/Surg skill set required, experience in Palliative Care/Hospice would be helpful
