Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

While only one reference is required for submittal, two manager references will need to be provided during onboarding in order to be compliant with Johns Hopkins requirements.

Experience Needed: Trained and worked in a dedicated Open-Heart Unit receiving patients directly from the OR.

Required: Current experience with recovery of post-op cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting, Vent, CRRT, Swan, Epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive gtts titration, level 1 IABP, ECMO

Preferred: Trauma course.

36 or 48 hour/week assignments.

Critical care certification, preferred.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Cardiovascular Surgical ICU (CVSICU/ Zayed 5 East) is a 18 bed unit that provides care for patients who are recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures.
