Travel Allied (Sterile Processing Tech) - Sterile Processing Unit

Additional Details:

40 hours per week.

1 weekend per schedule, E/O Holiday.

Required Exp: 4+ years acute care - must be proficient in Sterilization/Case Cart Picking and Endoscope Reprocessing.

Prefer exp. at a Level 1 facility, decontamination, prep and pack.

Could be floated to several areas within the hospital.

CRCST by IAHCSMM OR CSPDT by the ASHCSP. Certification must be current and maintained with CEUs as required.

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Education must be submitted as part of the submission packet.

In the interest of expediting your submission, please list the specialties/unit in which you've worked in and all applicable instrumental/tray processing fields you have experience with (Example: General, OB/GYN, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Ortho, etc.) on your work history.

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
