Additional Details:

Shifts: start time 0600. Shift length 8-10 hours (varied) Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.

Call: currently is weekend coverage only

Weekends: currently we have 2 SPD techs sharing call responsibility

Holidays: required.

Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.

2 years’ experience current required in large OR. Ortho, ENT and/or vascular experience a plus. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.

Certs: BLS from the American Health and Safety is acceptable.

Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

Scrubs required

Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 mile straight line radius of intended facility, not driving distance.

Anyone granted a covid vaccine exemption must comply with weekly testing and proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

1 reference must be from current manager.
