Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Guaranteed 36 hours per week

We are currently working on a scope for this unit. It has been functioning as an overflow department opening and closing based on the needs to offload the ED and staffing availability. Currently being staffed with our Resource Pool and others reassigned from other departments. Going forward we are looking to hire specifically for this department.
