Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Monument Health blackout dates for RTO are 8/1/24 - 8/18/24. Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered.

Monument includes the expected start date they prefer on their job postings. Please keep this in mind when listing your start date availability! If you can start on the day they are requesting, you are more likely to be selected for an interview or offer.

Guaranteed Hour: 36

Rotating or straight nights

Every other weekend, applicable holidays

NICU experience needed

Will you accept a first-time traveler? Upon manager review with strong experience

Patient Types:

Pediatric Critical Care, Neonatal Critical Care, and general inpatient respiratory care

Must be prepared to care for NICU patients if the requisition calls for that

Required Education: AA Degree

Skills required: Critical Care, General respiratory care experience

Floating: If yes, where? RT Coverage throughout hospital and ED Will not float to other facilities, unless hired for that specifically

Scheduling:

Weekend rotation: Every other

Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Dependent on facility/job requisition

Home Health Call: every other week - Business hours are 0800-1730, call hours are 1730-0800 and weekends/holidays.

Spearfish: 1am-6am – 3 days per week

Will any other facilities have call requirements? Generally not unless it’s planned for events like the Rally at Rapid City Hospital. At Spearfish and Sturgis hospitals, we have call, so yes if we had needs there.

Holiday Expectations: Work on holidays that fall within contract dates

Approval of time off? up to 7 days, must extend contract if taking a full week off; no RTO during Sturgis Bike Rally – first 3 weeks of August
