Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Call Requirements: Call is not required

NIH Stroke Certification: APEX

Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience required. Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred.

Must have experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management.

Patients encompass all types of general medical disease processes including post ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory.

Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and is required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period.

Shift: This may be full or partial shifts. Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
