Requirements
Experience
36 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
NRP (Required)
Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36

Shift Requirements: Variable 12-hour shifts (7p-7a and/or 7a-7p)

Float Requirements: floating to peds unit highly preferred

On Call/Call-Back: None, but if picking up extra shifts, could be placed on call or cancelled

Weekend/Holiday: Rotate every 3rd weekend depending on time off requested.

Holidays as scheduled outside of requested time off.

Required Education: BSN

Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years (level III or level IV)NICU experience required

PEDS experience preferred

Nurse to patient ratio: 1/2 or 1/3 depending on acuity

Scrub Colors: Any professional scrubs

Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.
