Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Endoscopy experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Orientation is bi-weekly

Weekends: Every Other

Call requirements on call one day per week and one weekend per 6 week schedule. It is scheduled as part of the staff schedule that is released for 6 weeks, at least 1 week prior to schedule start date.

Float details: possibly could float to PACU to assist with endo patient recovery but otherwise no

Patient ratios: pre-procedure 1/2-3. In procedure 1/1, post procedure 1/2-3

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: mixed, minimal pediatrics

Must Have Skills/Experience: Endoscopy experience in RN and tech roles

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: EGD/Colonoscopy/bronchoscopy
