Additional Details:

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

As we are a procedural area the work is not always complete at the end of their scheduled shift. The expectation is once a week the agency technologist may be designated to stay past the end of the shift if we have procedures to be completed. We refer to this as “Backup.” We also have the expectation of agency technologists working every 5th or 6th Saturday 0800-1600 as needed.

Daily Caseload per tech: 6-8 procedures/employee

Weekend REQ: (Y/N) Every other

Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) Call is 1600-0730 during the week (Monday – Thursday) and this position would be scheduled for a weeknight call shift 3-4 times in a 13-week assignment. Weekend call is Friday 1600 through Monday 0730 and this RT would be assigned weekend call 1-2 times in a 13-week assignment.

Special Requirements: Interventional Radiology performs an array of procedures ranging from central venous catheter placements/replacements, diagnostic angiograms, Y-90 mappings/treatments, Gastrostomy tubes, Perc Nephrostomy tubes, Peripheral artery disease leg cases and other vascular related procedures.

C-Arm and Contrast experience required

Scrub Color: Black, Red, or White

Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Wednesday of the week before initial start date.

Holiday Policy: BJC requires travelers to work 2 out of the 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day).

Fit testing: *Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions

Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission (ex: won’t accept any Background hits, will not accept DUIs, etc)
