Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Need strong ICU & Med/Surg RN.

Nurse-Patient Ratios Med surg nights 1:5, ICU 1:2

Common diagnoses/Types of patients CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, Diabetes, DKA, Weakness, Falls,

RNs are required to titrate drips in the ICU.

Shifts & Scheduling: We schedule travelers to fill holes on the schedule, but work with you to ensure the schedule is what works, we have some that do block scheduling, we will work with you.

Holiday Requirement: Yes

Call or Standby requirement: No, we generally do not put travelers on call
