24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Oregon license

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Shift: 1845-0715.

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Common diagnoses/Types of patients Cardiac, Respiratory, ETOH w/d, Renal failure

Experience or Must have skills: Acute care, cardiac and respiratory

RNs are required to titrate drips: Yes, minimal.

Common titratable &/or set rate drips Cardizem, heparin, amiodarone

Holiday Requirement 1 major and 1 minor

Call or standby requirement: Placed on call for low census only.

Floating Requirement Floats in turn to ICU or Med/Surg

Scrub Color/Dress code Scrub Top: Any color/Design; Pants: Black, Navy Blue, Cocoa Brown, Khaki, Charcoal Gray

Facility is able to request 90 Day Emergency License

RNs read strips: Yes monitor techs and RNs.
