12 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
References

Additional Details:

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Required Exp: 2+ years recent acute hospital and at least 1 year of critical care and 1 year of Level I surgical trauma experience.

Neuro experience is required

Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips

Unit sees patients with kidney transplants, hearts, free-flap neck dissections; heavily neuro-critical and trauma and other complicated surgical patients
