An interview may not be available prior to offer. Travelers may float at any time between units and mid-shift to meet the needs of the patients and Client Facilities.
Facilities are not accepting holiday RTO at this time - no holiday RTO requests will be allowed for submission. You can discuss with leadership once onsite for consideration.
Must be able to start within 4 weeks of receiving an offer.
No block scheduling requests.
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience: None. Previous experience in an acute care setting and Modified Barium Swallow evaluation preferred
Day Shift 35-40 hrs/week:
• Inpatient (Acute Care) setting for adults. SLPs also complete MBSS in the outpatient diagnostics, which is in the hospital.
• Mon-Fri and are on a weekend rotation. open to people who want an alternative schedule if they cover the weekend (e.g our traveler does Wed-Sun)
• Prefer MBS-imp certification, but not required. Must be proficient at completing MBSS
• Must have CCCs completed
• 2 years of experience preferred, new grad considered if they did their CCCs or externships in inpatient.
Two years' speech language pathology experience: Preferred
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred
