Requirements

Experience

24 months of Emergency Department experience is required.

Experience with Meditech is required.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Ratio is 1:4, unless it is a ICU or Stepdown patient

Will be scheduled 4 weeks at a time and be on a shift rotation. All shifts will work every other weekend.

Scrubs: Any color of professional scrubs. No other facility logos permitted.

Orientation: Will accommodate start any day of the week.

Will start in Human Resources and complete paperwork and obtain badge, next onto Occupational Health for Respiratory Fit Test and then will meet with Nursing Education to complete appropriate testing for their unit.

All RNs will take a medication test the first day. After testing, will go to the unit to finish their shift with a Clinical Preceptor. Will be provided additional orientation to unit as needed based on RN’s skill set
