Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

6 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required.

Experience with Cerner is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours 36

Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend out of 3 weekends

Holidays: May or may not have to work holidays. Will depend on the needs of the unit.

Floating: Yes - To other Tele/MedSurg units as needed

Beds: 18 Beds

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: All post cath lab/interventional procedure patients, as well as CP, ACS (Acute Coronary Syndrome), & CHF. They do pull sheaths but travelers do not need to. Prefers PACU

Candidate is required to pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting. 2 attempts

All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED.
