Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Skills checklist must be completed within the last 6 months for Application.

Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned Relias exams that must be taken immediately (within 48hrs). If you fail the exam twice, this may result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.

Float between ECU medical Center and Duplin Hospital

Will receive an email the day of shift at around 0400 or 1640. This gives ample time to adjust which direction to be driving to.

As a ICU RN may float to all the inpatient units of skill level and below

Patient Ratio:

ICU - 1/2

Intermediate 1/4-5

General 1/5-7 - possibly 1/5-8 in the community hospitals.
