Experience
22 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Additional Details:

All previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.

Floating required to NICU or units within skill set.

Manger willing to accommodate RTO within reason.

High probability of extending

Manager will review candidates with strong experience that have pending WA license.

Floating: All travelers are expected to float to another unit within their scop of practice if needed. The facility has a designated float team that floats first however, in the event there is a need at another campus travelers will float first before perm staff. All facilities are within a 40-mile radius or less. In the event that the traveler needs to float, it their responsibility to find transportation to the facility they’re floated to. Traveler’s refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

Modules:

  • Modules are completed pre-start, and annually
  • Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
