Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.

RTO and shift requests will not be accepted after submittal.

Guaranteed hours: 36

Patient Types: Total Joints (knees, hips etc), General MS, Appendicitis, colectomies, small bowel, Urology (turp, cysto), CHF, PNA, Sepsis, DM. Patient’s with addictions in addition to other medical issues

Skills required: Previous Charge RN experience highly preferred – manager is willing to accept travelers without this ONLY if they are willing to be trained as Charge and to work in that capacity as needed during their contract;

Chest tubes, traches, drains, wound vacs, IVs, PCAs, Epidurals (rare), IVABX, Heparin gtts; are not required to reading and interpret cardiac strips but it is preferable

Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other; travel pairs are allowed to work the same weekend generally

Holiday Expectations: 2/4 as needed

Scrub Color: Any color, must be professional
