Experience
24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is preferred.
3 months of experience with Epic is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license

Work Experience (Basic): 2 years of acute care RN experience

Education (Required): Diploma or Associate

Skills required: IV insertion, PICC/Central Line management:, Dialysis Fistula- assessment purposes only, CPAP/BiPAP- managed by RT, Trach Care, PCA pump, Feeding tubes, Continuous bladder irrigation, and Wound vac

Unit Name/Type of unit: 3SE med surg/ med surg telemetry

Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? Yes

Top diagnosis/procedures: Mixed diagnoses, medical and surgical patients Common equipment used: IV pumps, IPCD machines, Kangaroo pumps, PCA pumps, glucometer, Massimo pulse ox, wound vac

Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? No
