Travel Allied (Sterile Processing Tech) - Sterile Processing Unit

Distance is measured by a straight line, not driving distance

Float required and every other weekend.

• Must have 1 year experience in a level 1 academic medical center with 20 or more ORs
• Must have Service Line experience to submit
• SERVICE LINES: Robotics, Genreal, Cardiac, Perivacular, Cardio Vascular, Ears Nose Throat, Eyes, Laparoscopic, Ortho, Ortho Spine, Neuro, Dental, Loaners (implants), Plastics, Urology, Endo
• Competent in Decontamination, Prep and Pack, Steam sterilization, Low temperature sterilization and endoscope
• Flexible scope (high level disinfection experience)
• Recent case pick and sterilization experience
• Sterile instrument reprocessing and GI endoscope reprocessing
• Specialty Required and must be noted in the WH

Further Requirements:

• HCP is familiar with Olympus Scopes and Washer.
• HCP is familiar with loaner trays.
• HCP rates self as experienced with DaVinci Robot Xi.
• HCP is familiar with hand washing delicate items.
• Time HCP takes to process: Minor set: less than 7 minutes Dental set: under 4 minutes Ortho tray: 15 minutes
• HCP identifies: Minor basic, major basic, davinci scopes and arms, trauma, ENT, dental, smith and nephew, Stryker, United, wright medical, Synthes klm Martin, ortho align, Medtronics and you name them all.

Monday to Sunday. Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday .

Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended.

Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
