Northern Light facility start dates are typically 3-4 weeks from the offer.

RTO and shift requests will not be accepted after submittal. Northern Light facilities will not accept any RTO for 4th of July weekend.

Guaranteed Hour: 36

Pediatric BH exp preferred – send to manager for approval if candidate does not have Peds experience

Patient Types: Free standing acute inpatient facility – contracted ER 5 min away All patients come from an ED and are medically cleared not typical to have lines, drains, tubes, etc. Children and Adolescents receiving inpatient Mental Health services – ages 5 - 18 Common diagnoses include, but are not limited to: Eating Disorders, Depression, Suicidal Ideation, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Gender Dysphoria Traditional medical and psychiatric care in addition to specialized therapies such as: pet therapy, group sessions, recreation therapy (rock wall), community gardens

Skills required: De-escalation experience, experience with physical restraints

Floating: Yes – between two pediatric units

Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other; Sat/Sun

Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

Will they be on call? No call

Holiday Expectations: expected to work holidays in rotation

Scrub Color: any solid color; must be professional
