The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in our region.

Respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi system organ disfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, surgical complications, include some of our top DRGs.

Must be competent in the care of medical and surgical populations, ACLS, and advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per our titration protocols. Antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, a line, cvp, EVD, ortho traction, infection prevention protocols. HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent.

Nurses with large scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience tend to do well in our area. Average patient load is 3 high acuity patients.
