24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license

Strok/Stepdown - Combination Unit

Will Accept a First-time traveler? Yes

Travelers must be separated for 1 year if previously a perm staff

Patient Types: Stroke Unit - CVA, TIA Stepdown - Including but not limited to: Respiratory Failure, Sepsis, Stroke, DKA, s/p heart cath, s/p aortogram/arteriogram

Floating: Units: Will be utilized between the Stroke Unit and Stepdown (same level of care); will also float to Medsurg frequently

Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other weekend Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory May work 3/2 or 5/2 rotations, for example: 2 on 2 off, 5 on, 5 off See yellow blocks below: Can we approve time off? up to 7 days – must extend contract for any full week of RTO Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? No call Holiday Expectations: will work some holidays

Scrub Color: Pewter Parking: Free in designated areas Professionalism is a mandatory requirement – no cell phone usage in patient care areas, earbuds cannot be worn, no eating at desk
