Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

6 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

36 guaranteed hours.

Weekend Requirements: 5 days out of six weeks

Staffing ratio in ICU is 1:2 with the occasional 1:3 for ICU patients. Low census may result in floating to CVCU, which is a 1:4 staffing, or to ED to care for hold patients with the same patient ratios.

The unit is a medical ICU, Surgical ICU, CVICU and neuro ICU. In the event the helicopter cannot fly, we will care for pediatric patients in the unit.
