Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Some peds CVICU is required.

Must have some PICU experience due to floating. 2-5 years of clinical experience in the specialty is required. Floating is required within the ICU cluster (NICE, PICU, Burn PICU, IMCU). Travelers are first to float.

every other weekend is required. No on call; holidays are required, as needed.

Patient population (diagnoses): PICU - Respiratory distress, CRRT, ECMO, post arrest, trauma (blunt & penetrating), neuro, surgical post-ops, urology, ortho, ENT (trach revision, occasional cleft lip/palate), burns if intubated & < 13 years, new onset DKA, etc. IMCU – Unit will typically see respiratory distress, DKA, chronic vents, trach’s & any other diagnoses that have been stepped out of the PICU.
