Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
60 months of Case Management experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
CCM (Preferred)

Care Management System Office - Required

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Schedule:

Shifts between the hours of 0630-1830

More UM/UR experience w/ focus on Initial admits & concurrent reviews - Not D/C or discharge focused

Hospital or Payor UM/UR experience

CM & UM/UR experience if they worked in a “dual role” previously

Has worked with MCG within the past year or 2 - Must know current MCG functionality (Not InterQual)

Will take 4 - 10hrs if that’s the only option for the right candidate but Mondays must be 1 of the shifts every week.

Rotating weekends - 1 weekend day Q2 weeks or Q3 weeks

Certification: Prefer CCM &/or ACM - CCM (Certified Case Manager) / ACM (Accredited Case Manager) / C-SWCM (Certified Social Work Case Manager) / CBHCM (Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager)

Areas to Cover: Inpatient services: Obs, Hos, ER, Surgical Services, & Women/Children

Variable Pt Types- UM/UR; continued stay reviews, initial admission reviews, obsercation reviews

Schedule is made out by the manager, travelers are asked to be flexible and help fill gaps in permanent scheduling.

Flexible start time, Sat - Sun

Weekend Requirements: Typically going to be asked to work 1 shift each weekend. Will consider EOW, but they have a high need for weekend coverage

Holiday Requirements: None

Dress Code: Business Casual or Any Color Scrubs

Orientation: 1-3 shifts of orientation with a preceptor

The UR/UM role is mainly for admits, concurrent stay reviews, & Obs.

They don't send their own clinicals as they have techs and don't do prior auths or retro denials.
