Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Step Down Unit experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Additional Details:

Stepdown RN - 4K - Stepdown float to ICU as needed

Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available).

Must have exp working with ICU level patients as needed. Must have exp with vents/trachs.

Every other weekend, every other holiday.

Education Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred)

RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)

Critical Care Course (preferred)

Preferred: Experience with Pre/Post Cath Lab patients and Pre/Post CABG.

Could be assigned low acuity ICU patients, examples may include low dose vasopressor, stable vent with ET Tube and sedation, 3% saline, NIH post thrombectomy or TNK, etc. The ICU team will be available for questions and support as well.
