18 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license

Additional Details:

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.

MedSurg RN Needed for Oncology Unit.

No block scheduling.

Shifts 12 Hour PM-AM or 12 Hour AM-PM.

Shift Length 11 hours, 30.

Going guarantee 36 hours / week.

Preferred Experience:

Chest tubes Tubes Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone.
Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients.
Trachs/Laryngectomies Telemetry Complex wounds.
Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws.

24 beds of Hematology/Oncology/Gyn Oncology and med surg. 9 beds of Hematology and Cellular Therapy. Administer Chemotherapy, manage side effects, patients receiving radiation therapy and radioisotopes. Most common dx include lymphoma, leukemia and ovarian cancers.
