Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Operating Room experience is required.
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Must be proficient in the following skills: Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, OBGYN.

Shift: Monday to Friday with variable call.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Varies per call shifts

Call Requirements: Yes

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Diverse all ages

Must Have Skills/Experience: Must be comfortable supporting patients and surgeons with/for significant traumatic injuries- with an ability to anticipate what (in the way of instruments, supplies, and equipment). Highly skilled - everything from basic and quick lap procedures to open, complicated abdominal and/or chest cavity trauma cases. Must be competent and confident.
