Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend

Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? May float if needed.

25 bed unit.

Special Requirements:

• Required Work Setting Experience: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department.
• Required Airway Management Devices/Suctioning: Endrotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning.
• Required Patient Care Experience/Skills: Patients with ARDS, Aspiration, COVID, and Pneumonia.
• Required Medication Administration Skills/Experience: Albuterol, Atrovent, Inhaled steroids, Lidocaine, Mucomyst, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Xopenex.
• Required Medication Delivery Systems Skills/Experience: Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach.
• Required Nebulizer Skills/Experience: Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar.
• Required Oxygen therapy skills/experience: Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach Collar.
• Required Ventilator Management Skills/Experience: BiPAP, CPAP, IMV (intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation. Pressure/Volume Ventilator experience required.
• Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: ABG interpretation, Basic EKG, Chest Physiotherapy.

CRT also accepted.

Completed virtually on first day by EOD, then annually

RTO – we can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval.

Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler

Scrub Color: Any solid color.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
