Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
12 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.
BSN completion preferred
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Unit Specific Details
- 27 Bed PCU-Stepdown Unit
- *All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normal staffing.
- Patient Population: Heart block, Chronic Cardiac, chest tubes
- Drips: Cardiac drips and titrate (Cardizem, Dobutamine Dopa, Nitro, Amio), NO vasopressor drips, insulin drips
- Equipment: Alaris pumps, Hoyer lift, BiPAP, Sara Stedy, PCA, GlucoStabilizer, bedside cardiac monitor
36 hours guaranteed
Required to work every other weekend and every other major holiday.
Cardiac Step down Experience Required
6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)
Critical Care Course (preferred)
MUST pass EKG Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library)
Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or any combination of the two colors.
