This is a Tele position, requiring Tele skills
Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.
Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS
An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Requirement 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
Holiday Requirement Rotate in with the perm staff
Is there a call or standby requirement? No call required
Floating Requirements Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC Eds as needed.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele Experience
Must have a strong cardiac tele background. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters. Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical. (MS/Tele travelers do not need prior travel experience)
Will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting on a bed in the hospital.
May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.
