Requirements
Experience
18 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
12 months of Case Management experience is preferred from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

Monument Health blackout dates for RTO are 8/1/24 - 8/18/24. Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered.

Guaranteed Hour: 40

Will accept first time travelers if greater than 2 years of experience

Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler

Patient Types:

Case Managers provide care for patients in all the acute care departments

The RN Case Manager will most likely remain in the same area during their contract, pending new hires.

Typically, travelers are not required to float to multiple areas during their contract.

Education Required: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing

Skills Required: Previous discharge planning and Acute Care Case Management experience, progression of care, experience meeting with families and discussing plans of care

Scheduling:

Weekend: 2 weekends per 13-week assignment

On-Call: No

Holiday Expectations: 2/4 major holidays

RTO: No RTO during Sturgis Bike Rally (first 2-3 weeks in August of every year)

Scrub Color: Navy Blue or Professional attire
