Experience
Travel experience is preferred.
12 months of Step Down Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is required.
References

Additional Details:

Candidates who have 2+ years of experience, 3 days or less RTO and who can start on date posted in the position can be auto-offered.

Shift: 6:45a-7:08p; Hcp will be scheduled based upon need. No block scheduling. No self-scheduling.

Weekend and holiday requirements.

Float as needed between units 3W (28 beds), 2W (28 beds), 3 Central (16 beds). 28 bed unit.

Patient care modality: Respiratory failure, COPD, Kidney failure, overdoses, sepsis. 2 West also has vascular pre and post op patients.

All titratable drips, IV insertions, central line management, trach management. Vent types: Baxter IV Pump, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps, Drager Ventilators, Omnicell med cabinet.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required.
  • Strongly prefer 400+bed or level 2 trauma exp.
  • All RNs will be required to take and pass a “pre assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm Strip) test and RNs should be prepared, passing score is 80%.
