Requirements
Experience
Travel experience is required.
24 months of Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a California license

PALS (Required)

Prior Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Float Policy: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite Job Specifications. Please ensure this is discussion at time of submission, and time of offer.

Travel Pairs: travel pairs are allowed, but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit

Modules:

  • Modules are non-billable and included in NBO hours, 8 hours of modules
  • Anything over 24 hours is billable
  • Modules are completed during pre-start, and annually
  • Transcripts recorded from the UC Learning website

BLS and PALS AHA RQI certs are acceptable.

RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply
