Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license

CPI (Required)
Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Declinations not accepted.
COVID booster required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Assignment for 16-26 weeks.

Psych RN to work in the ED: Position is strictly Psych.

No call but every other weekend, or the equivalent, and floating required.

Nurse should be skilled, experienced traveler motivated by compassion, committed to safety, shared responsibility and culturally sensitive.

Acute and chronic psych patients, range in age from pediatric to geriatric.

Patients may require medical intervention, along with their psych symptoms.

ProAct, or MOAB required.

Prior travel OR acute psych in large teaching facility required.

IVS to offer.

Monday to Sunday.

Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday.

No block schedules for any reason.

Public Transportation is not accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended.

Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
