Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36

Shift Requirements: Day/Night rotating. 7a-7p/7p-7a. 

Weekend/Holiday: Up to every other weekend, and holiday

Float Requirements: To all inpatient units; would be given appropriate patient assignments

Minimum Experience: 2+ years Med Surg experience.

Must have recent hospital experience.

Trauma level II experience required.

Prior travel experience required.

Unit Specific Skillset: Post Surgical Care Unit post recovery after Pacu.

Provides care along a continuum for pre and post-surgical adults and geriatric patients. 

Nurse to patient ratio: day/pm 1/4-5, nights 1/5-6

Scrub color: any

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.

Required Education: Associate's Degree or Certificate

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
