Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours 36

No self-scheduling, will try to work with requests.

Weekend and Holiday Requirement: Yes- if there is a need.

Floating Requirements: Yes to other MedSurg floors.

Beds: 36

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Surgical patients with mix of MedSurg. Any surgical patient that would stay overnight or longer- total joints, appys, choles, simple back surgeries etc. Medical and cardiopulmonary- CHF, COPD, pneumonia, psych, dementia, COVID, etc. Only patients they really don't take are strokes.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have experience with post op surgical patients. Okay with first time traveler but would like first time traveler to have more than 1 year of experience.

Prefer RNs to read and interpret
