Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule
All RTO needs to be in at time of submission.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: 28 weeks and above, lot of HTN, 7-10% no prenatal care, high Spanish speaking, tele monitoring. Spanish speaking would be great.
Experience: Must be able to do a vaginal exam (if come from teaching facility-they have less skill since medical students/residents do these). Scalp electrodes, Circulate a C-section, Newborn transitions, Assist anesthesiology, IV starts, Blood draws, APGARS assignments-must know, Postpartum hemorrhage control- SIM lab coming-fall 2023, Epidurals, Amnio infusion. Water birth-not a must have, just for knowledge.
Preferred: experience with spinning babies.
Weekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Noc: Fri/Sat. Day: Sat/Sun.
Holiday Requirements: Typically 2/3 holidays, includes eve/day of. Will be On-Call-as much as you like, not mandatory. Please note in interview notes traveler agrees to holiday requirements (will be assigned 2 out of 3 holidays within contract, holidays are considered the eve/day of).
Is there a call or standby requirement: Low Census On Call.
Floating Requirements: NICU/Peds/Womens as well as MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment- downgraded, or RDU.
