24 months of Operating Room experience is required from last 4 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed 32 hours per week

Shift notes: M-F 0645-1515 + call once a week 1515-0645; occasionally (once every 6 weeks) M-F 10900-1730 shift; Will Cover Weekend call approximately every 4th/5th weekend, Fri 1515-Mon 0645, first to float, holidays

Candidates must be proficient in Ortho/Neuro

OR - ORTHO/NEURO

Common Cases: ortho neuro total joints(hips, knees, shoulders), sports medicine, arthroscopies, neuro-spinal fusions, cervical and lumbar cases, micro discs, cranis, and no awake large neuro cases
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 1 year of Ortho/Neuro OR experience. ortho, neuro, total joints (knees, hips, shoulders, ankles), sports medicine, arthroscopies, neuro-spinal fusions, cervical and lumbar fusions, micro discs, cranis, and no awake large neuro cases
Floating Requirements: MUST be willing to float to cross train to other specialty cases if needed to be second scrub. MUST be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter (and will get train that day) If refused supplemental time of an not getting paid- RDO day), Ability to pick up extra for 1:1 sitting; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume"

Scrub Color: provided

Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week, 1515-0645.

Weekend/Call Requirements: Based on staffing, every 3-4 weekends, Fri 1515-Mon 0645.

Holiday/Call Requirements: Must be willing to work holidays- rotate with perm staff.

What is call response time? 15 minutes, 8 hour reprieve shifts for post call, sleep room available - housing should also be available nearby to make call

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
